Things don't always go as planned...

One of my favorite families.  The perfect location.  The perfect outfits.  Perfect weather.

What we never expected was for the girls to run through a field of poisonous Nettle plant within  the first 5 minutes of arriving.  Enter the tears, the stinging, and the immediate painful reaction to this otherwise pretty plant.
Mom stayed calm.  Dad ran to the store for ice and relief cream.  I attempted to keep the mood light by singing quirky songs and cracking jokes...
But as they say in show business:  The show MUST go on...

And with a few other memorable moments, indeed it did:

Its always a blessing to be contacted by a past client... you can see the Long Family here and here.  Thank you Kevin, Stephanie, Kiley, and Reagen for always being SO much FUN!

Best deal in town...

Happy Valentine's Day to you!

I had a blast taking Presley's 6 month pictures.  Her brother Cody was just the right amount of "ham".  LOVE these kiddos.  Here's a peek at Presley's newborn shoot and her 3 month.  There's nothing I love more than documenting a little one's first year.

Villa Park Class of 2013 | Justin

Cruising around with no specific location in mind has always been my favorite.  Old Towne Orange never disappoints with its rustic buildings, unique architecture, and small town feel.  Justin was such a good sport and was open to anything.  We had a blast, and before we knew it, we were done!

Best of luck to you Justin.  Enjoy the rest of your senior year.

Class of 2013 | Erika

Both athletic and beautiful, Los Altos High School senior Erika, is on the straight and narrow path to Cal State Fullerton where she is destined for great things.  Best of luck Erika!

the perfect light

The VanVelson girls...

The perfect pistachio grove just off the road.  I love Central California.

This location was unbelievable partly because the lighting could NOT have been better at that very moment.  This abandoned barn was simply stunning.

and cause I knew I needed one of my very own... Avery was put on the spot too.
I couldn't decided which I liked better:  black & white?
or color?        No matter what, Miss Bailey rocked it!

 location: Corcoran, California
